The Killer Frog Hotel is a 35 gallon vivarium (terrarium with animals) equipped with a running stream (fed by an underground reservoir), an automated misting system, full-spectrum fluorescent lights, submersible and exterior heating elements and a host of various plants, rocks, logs and mosses.
The Hotel was established in 1999. Since that time, it has played host to a number of poison dart frog species. Many of those residents have moved on to other vivaria. A few, sadly, have passed to that rainforest in the sky. Two residents, however, remain from the first day. |
