Springtails are small tasty creatures that live in wet, soggy, marshy material.
This picture illustrates just how small springtails are.  Inside the yellow circle you will see three of them.  They are tiny white bugs that can really jump.  The frogs love them (when they can find them).
The deal with springtails: Unlike fruitflies, keeping springtails alive requires almost no work whatsoever.  Just add a couple of flakes of fishfood to the medium once a month or so and leave them alone.
Springtails are typically served in the following manner:
Step 1.  Pour some extra water into the medium. This causes thespringtails to float to the surface.

Step 2. Using a big turkey baster, we suck up the water (springtails and all).
Step 3.  Squirt the contents of the baster into the vivarium.  Because the springtails are so small, we usually squirt the baster right in front of the frogs.  Otherwise, the frogs probably won't notice these little snacks.
