Resurrectionist
Words: Timothy Mizerak
Music: Timothy Mizerak

I felt the fevered tones of a fervent voice. It crossed the line between fake and impassioned. What life, vitality, virility, virality-terror. My interest piqued-I must seek this whisper.

Come into the fear of ritualized chaos.
Masquerade for years as satirized leaders.
Step into my mind-frame, excavate the blind game,
separate the untamed from the massacring.
In the midst of growing discord,
saints wearing cloaks of hollowed, painted gold.
Halls of hallowed, sacred hordes
are cast in the crass trash of human souls.
The morning never came
and now the nights will waste away.
The searing sound of serpents call
to take us all beyond the wall.
Inside our brains the wall refrains
from terror, lies, deceit, and pride.
Still, in shame, it cant be blamed
for wanting time to be alive.
Words proclaiming all the answers,
carving out archaic cancers,
counter golden archetypes;
misuse of mass-media hype,
tales tailored to untold kings,
tyrants are still posturing,
in the fold, undersold,
spending life deceiving.

Devils cry as the sun weeps in our sky,
lost in the haze.
I worry what the masses will do to us,
reacting to whats misconstrued.

There is nothing here that supports your idea,
nothing that can make it become true.
Real life does not possess a strong plea
but it still fights back when it is in need.

We will drink stones and set free a gargoyle.
We will take in hand both horror and fable.
Entangle your hair with threads of the lost.
Remember that I was your unworldly host.

Savior!
Resurrect me!
Bow down to the master,
Prince of disaster.

Portrait of disease, infecting euthenics,
ripping decay from rotting aesthetics.
Misinterpret the words in the lies,
the same ones that have convinced you to die.
To give up your freedom for security,
to live something wrong for this certainty,
a safeguard against living at all,
falling away from their treacherous call.

Sacrifice a thousand ages.
Resurrect an ancient god-king.

Take the savior!
You had no right!
This is my life!
I am your...death.
gRRRRR
