IFR Training - Session 21

October 11, 2003 -Just another day in the sim. Not too much really happened today. We shot a couple of different approaches in the sim today. First up today was the ILS 10R approach. I did get slightly off with the glideslope, though. I need to get done a little sooner when on the glideslope. Keep the needle in the donut and things will be much better. The last approach was the VOR 36 approach and that went much better. I was able to keep the needle much closer to home (centerline) with only a slight deviation. It still needs some work, but ti is getting better. Next up is the approaches in the actual plane. I am hoping being in the plane will help with all of the factors. The sim is really a pain in the butt to get used. I should be in the plane on Wednesday and then from there we will see. That's all for now
