08/12/03 - Again it was just another day in the simulator. Nothing really exciting to talk about. I was placed at various spots on the maos and told to track the NDB backl to the station. My scan is coming together and I held the attitude quite well today. I even elicited an "good job on the altitude" today from my instructor. Other than that, all was well. The trouble that I seem to have is tracking to the station and then correcting for the wind so that you can maintain that track.
Things to Remmber:
1. when tracking the NDB, set wind direction on the #1 nav radio.
2. do not forget to correct for the wind when tracking the NDB. Unless you
3. Unless there is a direct headwing, you will always have some sort of crosswind.
4. Anyway that us all for now.
Not much has happened this flight and I cannot get wait to get back in the cockpit.
