Mavis has eight ear piercings on her right ear. It wasn't there for her first album, Rain. It was there for her second one, Talking to Myself. So I figure she got it sometime between April and December of 1996 when the two albums were released, respectively. Rumor has it that many girls who idolized her, copied her and got their ear pierced just like hers. |

Mavis got her first tattoo in 1996 while on her trip in America. She was in L.A. studying music at M.I. The tattoo is some sort of a design on her right ankle. The left picture below shows part of the tattoo. The right picture is newer. Mavis added to the tattoo and made it bigger but I have no idea when she did that. |
Her second tattoo is of a dolphin. It's on her upper back, right side. I'm not too sure when she got it. I suspect sometime before May of 1998. |

Mavis' newest piercing is below her lower lip. She was going to get her tongue pierced but her mommy won't allow it. So she decided on this piercing instead. I believe she got it in August of 2000. It has since been removed. In 2001, with the release of Mavis' last album revealed her biggest tattoo: a dragon on her upper right arm. At the same time, Mavis also obtained two more piercings. One on her tongue and another above her teeth --- on her gum(?). However, I did not notice either one of these piercings the last time I saw her in September 2003. |
