Friday 17/12 - Left University to get back to sunny Preston today and the Xma� tree was up!! Gave my brother a lift to work at 10 o'clock and nearly caused a crash at a roundabout on the way back because Fairytale of New York came on the radio and I was too busy singing it to worry about what was in front of my on the road (some things are just more important than life or death situations). Arrived home a became unsatifactorily intoxicated on Foster's whilst looking around the internet and listening to Xma� songs.

Saturday 18/12 - Yay! Got my job back as well as �133 I was owed from work that I never knew I was supposed to have! Preston won too, 2-1! Quite a lucky day so far, lottery draw comes on and by the 4th ball I had 2 numbers, just needed one match from the last two balls and then.... no. As usual. Watched Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels the director's cut with a Kronenberg. I later went out with some work friends and, though I felt a bit boring because I hardly knew any of them and wasn't pissed enough to "dance", got moderately drunk, which later turned into drunk enough to have a meatball footlong AND a donor kebab.

Sunday 19/12 - Woo! Edge and Christian on the advent calendar, how cool!? Who'll be the 25th? (Probs HHH) Not much done today, no micohol, need to get it out of my blood. Start work again tomorrow :( Can't be arsed! Spent a lot of the day playing Fifa, I'm about 7 games from the end of the season and sit uncomfortably in 2nd, I'm in the LDV final vs Orient! Derby put me out of the FA cup. Played bowling today, won 2 games out of 3!! Going to finish off the season on Fifa now, I'll update you on my promotion tomorrow!

Monday 20/12 - Noo! Back at work :( feels like I've never been away. The new tills are stupid! Anyway �20 is �20 and I need all the �20's I can get at the minute! Got promoted as Mansfield, then got snapped up by Preston. Bristol City got to the Championship too (And Leicester went to the Premiership!). Anyway, enough of boring game stuff! Went t' pub and had a few pints, found a table football table just like Squiggles' (really don't know where the apostrophe should go there, Dave) I beat my mate 9-1 anyway, and his goal would have been disallowed by TTFA rules. That's 4 wins in 4 in Preston, 7-3, 7-3, 9-2, 9-1. Adam, Dave or Bhav, move to Preston.

Tuesdaay 21/12 - First day off, haha! Went to the PNE shop and bumped into my old Physics teacher Ms. Manley, how cool! Resisted buying anything, though I'll be back soon, they have a nice bottle opener, and the mugs with your name on are nice (and in the catalogue they use "Michael" as the example name - I could always go for "Micohol" though!) Nipped into Sainsbury's and got 6 Nectar points, but no point for guessing what I bought... *whistles*... Went to my mates house and watched Futurama (First episode!) and then home to the best curry I've had since Diwali! Watched Ipswich (scum) vs. Wigan (scum) and didn't do much else!

Wednesday 22/12 - Worked until 3, so annoying! Then went to McDonald's and had a Big Tasty meal (complete with free McFlurry for being a scummy student). So good! Didn't do much in particular at night bar internet and Fifa, I managed to get Mansfield (my old club) in the second round of the league cup. Crewe beat Bristol City, though Bristol City are now above Crewe (straight up from 24th!). The weird one is MK Dons second in the championship... erm, no... oh, and Wigan at the bottom of it. (Is it just me that doesn't find PNE at the top out of place...?) Going out tomorrow night, so 23/12 should be a bit more exciting!

Thursday 23/12 - Fuck! Why can't I remember last night? Oh, the large amount of vodka redbull might have something to do with it. �2.95 for a double, not bad for Preston, and I've managed to spend �25, shit. There's a towel complete with bucket next to my bed... must have been sick, I just can't remember it. Don't know what happened to my mate or how I got home. Did I have a kebab? Who knows? Am I allowed back to Reflex ever!? I hope so, they play 80's music, 80's music's cool! What else? I'll have a think... though I doubt I'll remember much.

Friday 24/12 - Worked... worked, boring sodding work, earned another �20 though! Then I went to the pub, yay! Couple more thrashings at the old table football, sang loads of Xma songs (one of my friends was a bit merry) and then staggered home leaving Xma messages on people's answer phones and wishing anyone who nearly approached us a merry Xma (only I was saying christmas, not eczema). Nicked a nice Kronenbourg glass and got all festive!

Satuday 25/12 - It's CHRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIISTMAAAAAAAAAAAS!!! Finally, it's just one day of the year and I was determined to have a better one than last year. Couldn't get out of bed for anything though, kinda crawled downstairs at 11 o'clock and woke everyone up and then it was present time, yay! I got the various traditions (toothbrush, deoderant, underwear etc..) a case for my dvd's so they won't take up any much room extra on my shelf so there's room for... you guessed it... more Grolsch bottles!!! I aslo got a nice fridge for my room at uni, used it and it works quite nicely, it's packed with Foster's at the moment.
Okay, round to grandma's got more presents, the old tradition that is the Beano and lots and lots of money (thank you so much!!) then it was onto dinner! No turkey! We had lamb and chicken though, it was absolutely gorgeous and as we were eating the first few flakes of snow began to fall, how festive! After dinner it was the usual chatting in the sitting room, until, more snow! Big flakes of snow, sticking! So outside we went and built a snowman amidst a snowball fight. When all the snow was used up we went back inside to warm up and eat tea, and all this time more snow was falling to produce another layer of snow, so again later we went out and build loads of mini snowmen, and I built a snow robin (just to be different). There was even a snowman on top of our car! Another snowball fight later we retired to the warmth of indoors and did nothing much for a couple of hours until the time came for me to drive home, in the snow, which I'd never done before. Came to the end of the first road and the car just didn't stop, it just placed itself right in the middle of the perpendicular road. We got home safely and well and then bed, cos I was shattered!

Sunday 26/12 - Oh bugger! Another memoryless night, and guess what, it involved vodka, see a pattern emerging? It's a tradation in my family to go to my auntie's house on Boxing Day, eat all the Christmas leftovers and then get completely wankered whilst listening to 70's records that the older generation like. This time we played random games as usual, cards and "Give us the piece." I was mainly on Foster's because of the 23rd but when it seemed everyone else was a lot more drunk than me I hit the vodka and coke, big mistake. I can remember having 4 and then I can't remember much else.

Monday 27/12 - Got up and regretted the night before then went to town to see if anywhere had PS2's in stock, but ennded up stopping off at the pub on the way, that was the most difficult drink I've drunk in a long time. No one had PS2's in stock so went home via another pub and then through TJ's where someone asked how I was, so I replied "pissed," to which she replied "You always are!" I never knew I had that reputation in Preston too (despite going into work drunk one day... oops). Didn't do much else that night but, erm, pub (now I see where the reputation comes from). Had a few games of table football (2 wins, 2 losses) and then home, in the rain!

Tuesday 28/12 - Got up fairly late and went to North End, bought some stuff from the shop and watched a magnificent PNE thrash the pretty awful Reading. A good game though their players were a bit dirty (and I'm not referring to the state of their clothes!) their keeper pushed a ballboy after he gave him the ball! And the referee might as well have been wearing a Reading top. Didn't do much else, needed to get rid of alcohol from my body and do the first of my work over the uni break, especially since I had work the next day I needed to be up bright and early... bastards...
