| Dave is the first person I met when I arrived in Manchester that I'm still in regular contact with. He's studying French and German at the University of Manchester. Dave has managed to get me addicted to... SPAM! Spam up! He also picks up very frequently on my Northern accent, which affects about 95% of all I say. I'd take the piss out of his accent, but he doesn't come from the proper midlands so he doesn't talk like a prick. Dave got me into football a lot more than I would have been had I not known him, we both watched both Preston vs. Crewe (his team, well... it doesn't belong to him, but he supports them) games this season, PNE won both (of course). The table football games between Dave and myself are always the best ones, they can go either way, though recently he has taken to beating everyone. He was the first ever winner of the paper cup! |
