Pre-Game History

Year 0: The world and humans are created. The location is disputed and more or less unknown, though most people like to say that humanity was 'born' near or in Acoia.

Year 8: Humanity spreads out to explore the continent and build up the population.

Year 13: Ronduin founded.

Year 21: Mount Humontis founded.

Year 58: Talen'sul founded.

Year 62: Naurorod founded.

Year 150: War of Love and Evil begins.

Year 175: Etaf intervenes in the War of Love and Evil, causing strange alliances and pairings to form.

Year 207: War of Love and Evil ends.

Year 351: Ilyamen founded.

Year 405: Beast types begin to appear in Humontis and Naurorod.

Year 429: The first Clear type appears in Ilyamen.

Year 451: The Beast population experiences a burst; banding together, they decide to take up residency in the grasslands, forests, and jungles surrounding Humontis.

Year 510: Mind types, formally scattered about the various cities, find themselves persecuted for their powers. Worried, they come together and  decide to form a village, located roughly near Talen'sul.

Year 557: The first Storm types appear in Talen'sul and Naurorod.

Year 603: Clears grow in number and their power is discovered. After a couple Clears are killed, the rest are driven off. Lacuna is formed.

Year 659: The first Ice types discovered in Talen'sul and Ronduin.

Year 710: Civil war breaks out in Talen'sul between the Winds and Storms. The Storms, winning, decide to break away from Talen'sul and form their own government. For a brief period, Talen'sul is considered the property of newly formed Maelstrom until they manage to win back their freedom through strategic victories against the Storms, who finally deem the Winds too bothersome to rule over.

Year 718: Ice types, after the war between the Storms and the Winds, decide to break away from Talen'sul and form Khelek, not wanting to get drawn into the conflict with the Storms. The Storms agree to leave Khelek alone, so long as the new Ice types do not participate in the fights between Maelstrom and Talen'sul.

Year 806: The small village of Mind types is ambushed by Maelstrom, and attempted to be put into submission, to be used as a 'tool' against Talen'sul. The Mind types manage to elude capture, but take a grievous amount of damage as a result. The council of the Minds decides to scatter the people in secret locations throughout the lands. The Mind Communities are formed.

Year 910: A temporary peace is drawn up between Maelstrom and Talen'sul. The citizens of Maelstrom look for new people to conquer and so turn against the Fires of Naurorod. Ambushing a large clan in what is now Athrug, a battle ensued that has been described as "the most destructive battle in the history of Naruta since the War between Evil and Love". The fight leaves the landscape scarred and desolate. Priests of Athrug, thinking it fitting, build the Temple of Death there as a monument to the fight.
