| I grew up in Ypsilanti, Michigan, graduated with a BS degree in Natural Resource Management from the University of Michigan in 1975, and permanently moved west in 1977. I worked as a wildlife biologist for the Bureau of Land Management in southwest Colorado for 9 years and then became the agency's only botanist in Arizona for 4 years. After that, I transferred to Oregon and finally to Baker City where we have retired. I started writing while still employed full time and have self-published two detective/ mystery novels. Now I am organizing and promoting the Writers Guild of Eastern Oregon as one of my volunteer activities. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
