There is something that is all around us.
It�s very good for us - but we can�t see it.
We can see what it does and we can feel it on our faces.
It�s called AIR.
It really doesn�t matter that we can�t see it.
We know we breathe it in and out.
PUT YOUR HAND ON YOUR CHEST
TAKE A BIG BREATH IN.
NOW PUT YOUR HAND IN FRONT OF YOUR MOUTH
AND BREATHE SLOWLY OUT
Did you feel that?
Your lungs fill up with air and you can feel their movement. and then you can feel the air on your hand as you breathe out.
Most of the time we�re not aware of the air, are we?
We don�t notice our breathing - in and out.
I�ve got something with me that helps us feel the air.
Does anyone know what this is? ( HOLD UP FAN)
It�s a fan.
I�m going to switch it on and let you feel the air.
Even when the air is still we don�t doubt that it�s there.
When the wind blows we�re more aware of the air around us.
Sometimes God seems to be still and we don�t see anything happening. It�s easy then to wonder if he is there at all.
But God is still there. He�s always there.
Sometimes he does dramatic things, like the wind ,
And then we remember he�s been there all the time.
