Two words: Faith’s back. And oh, how we missed her!
This week’s ep kicked off in Faith’s dreamworld. Even though she’s still in a Buffy-induced coma, she’s dreaming of revenge. But in Faith’s dreams, Buffy’s the stalker and Faith is innocent. She also imagines the Mayor looking out for her until Buffy slashes his throat. Faith’s eyes pop open and she escapes from the hospital, after pummeling some girl and stealing her clothes. A nurse notifies the cops and some sort of mysterious authorities.

Meanwhile, Buffy is determined to bust Riley out of the Initiative hospital. No need: Riley shows up at Giles’, determined to help Buffy, no matter what his Initiative cohorts think. Then Buffy receives the call that Faith is on the loose. Now she has two objectives: destroy monster-guy Adam and protect those she loves from Faith.

The Scoobies hunt for Faith. Willow fills Tara in on the sitch, while Giles and Xander run into a sulking Spike and tell him about the hunt. Spike, to their dismay, feels that he and Faith might make good pals. Meanwhile, Faith roughs up a demon who delivers a tape to her that the Mayor made before he was destroyed. On the tape, he advises Faith to use a strange little weapon he has created for her.

Some strangers with British accents show up at Giles’ place – probably from The Council…?

Buffy explains to Willow that she hasn’t told Riley the whole story about Faith; she sorta left out the details about Angel. But Buffy doesn’t have to hunt long for Faith (now wearing red lipstick--so much cuter!); the toxic avenger shows up on campus where she and Buffy duke it out before Faith runs away. And where does she run to? Buffy’s house.

Faith taunts Buffy’s mom, Joyce (where has she been all season?), for thinking that Buffy would show up for a rescue. Doesn’t Faith know better by now? Buffy bursts in and the two slayers fight the dickens out of each other. Suddenly Faith whips out that mysterious weapon from the Mayor and clasps it in Buffy’s hand. Holy Freaky Friday, Batman! Faith is now in Buffy’s bod.
