Buffy goes and screws that guy
she had met in the cafeteria line at the college as he seems so
nice and all. But then, after like three days afterwards (he had
said he would call her) he hasn't talked to her so he finds him
and goes up to him - interupting him telling this other chic about
how his dad's death so affected him - and starts to ask if he
was ok, etc. He ends up giving this talk to her so very similar
to the one Angel gave to her the day afterwards - although Angel
had a reason being evil and all. This hits her really bad and
she goes into denial as it had just been some fun for him, he'd
thought she'd known - "everyone makes mistakes". She
tells Willow that she think they can still make it work.
Meanwhile we realise the hunk-master Spike is back in town with
a new girlfriend - Harmony. He's searching for this ring called
"Gem of Amarra" which is, according to Giles,
just a myth but which makes the vampire wearer invincible - nothing
kills them including sunlight. Harmony keeps interupting him while
he is working and he's getting mad.
