In The Dark
This is a slight sortof cross over with the previous
night's Buffy as Oz comes into it.
Highlights:
Angel: In the Dark
Wednesday, Channel 7, 10:30pm **
Remember Spike? Remember that vampire with the Billy Idol haircut,
the Brit accent and that punkish attitude that always sent Buffy
into a tizz?
Well he's back this week, making life more hellish than normal
for Angel and promising our dark hero a lot of torture and a gruesome,
horrible death. Spike (James Marsters) is one of the more interesiotn
creatures that have sprung up in Buffy The Vampire Slayer.
This time around he's after the mysterious Gem of Amarra, a ring
that guarantees immortality.
Somehow Buffy snapped it up and sent it as a gift to her old boyfriend,
Angel (David Boreanaz). The idea is it might just let the pale
night-stalker enjoy the delights of LA's sun and surf. After all,
he hasn't touched the tanning lotion for 200 years. But Angel's
busy saving the lost ladies of LA from things that go bump in
the night. All he wants for the future is a healthy dose of insomnia
and an ATM card to the blood bank.
TV Tonight:
Angel, Seven, 10:30pm
Clearly, the US immigration
authorities are not doing their job
with the mass exodus from
Buffy's Sunnydale to Angel's LA.
Least welcome is Billy Idol
sound-a-like Spike. Nice day for a
white wedding, opps, black mass.
