This is the first stage in becoming a full team member. As mentioned on the main page, this stage is also considered probationary. JA's are expected to respectful of those above them, and understand that they are being evaluated at all times. To be a JA you must be
-16 years of age or older
NO EXECPTIONS
-In good physcial condition
-Avaliable on a consistant basis during team training time
If the Senior Council belives you to be a good candidate, you'll be informed as such and you will be given a mentor. Each mentor has their own area of expertise and is expected to pass on those skills. At this time you'll also be given your apprentice name. This is the name you'll go by during team time. Upon becoming a warrior, you'll be given another name.
During your training you can expect pain. Bruises and bumps, scrapes and cuts are fairly common depending on what you're training for/as. Safety is our primary concern and if ever you are put in a situation where you feel uncomfortable, DON'T. We will respect your decision and allow you to find another way of training. Ours is not the buisness of hurting people, and pain is the body's way of telling you something is wrong.
Most of all, have fun. That's what being an apprentice is all about.
