You Can Help Wildlife
You can help preserve our planet by doing a few every day things.

- Preserve trees by useing recycled paper, and when you are working, use BOTH SIDES!!! It would be a shame for a tree to be chopped down because wasted paper.

- Avoid buying over-exploited sea food such as oysters, shrimp, Chilean sea bass, and Atlantic Sword Fish.

- Turn lights and heating materials off when you don't need them on. You won't believe how much energy this saves! Also, as light bulbs burn out, replace them with florescent light bulbs. Not only do they use only 1/3 of the energy that was originally consumed, they last longer. If you follow both these suggestions, you may save alot of money on your electricity bill.

- Wrap your water heater in an isolating jacket. This saves energy.

- Go on "Low Impact Hikes", in other words, take nothing but photographs, and don't touch wildlife, turn over logs or rocks, and leave the place as you left it.

-Don't litter. Animals may try to eat your trash and choke or get poisoned.

-Recycle.

- Think of creative ways to use old "junk". (Ragdolls, Cornhuskdolls, temporary animal shelters, ect.)

-Don't launch ballons. What goes up must come down, and ballons can choke wildlife.

-Write to important people, voicing your opinion on current nation-wide events. This actually works very well, when hundreds or thousands of people do this, the people will triumph!!! (Remember to be polite in your letter)

- Be responsible with toxins. Don't throw them down the drain. Get rid of them properly.

- Don't put paint or oil down the sink or a raindrain. It pollutes.

-Be conscience of where you are swimming or boating. Is there any endangered or threatened wildlife??? If so, you might want to go some where else.

- Never feed or touch wildlife. This cannot be stressed enough, and animals in contact with humans can become dangerous.

- The next time you get a car, don't get a gas-guzzlin', quick-flippin' SUV. Get a sensible car, one that goes on 50 miles a gallon or higher. Some Hybrids aren't expensive, and go 70 miles a gallon. This can save you money on gasoline.

-Donate often to organizations like the Save the Tiger Fund and the World Wildlife Fund, they help restore animals to there natural habitat. Most donations are tax-deductable.
