Fancyr.jpg (84923 bytes) Willy's Fancy Girl - this is Laura Behnings resin Morgan mare Willy Remember Me painted by Laura. "Fancy" as I call her is a chestnut mare with a very flaxen mane and tail. She is a really sweet looking little mare. Her name is part tribute to Willy and to a Reba McIntyre song "Fancy". I had been looking for a mare I could call Fancy when I saw Laura's mare. I e-mailed her to see if she had any left, Fancy was her last one! So I grabbed her up. I have yet to take fancy to a live show as we have so few in my area, but I anticipate that when there is one that does not conflict with my work schedule, that she will do very well.
Tremere.jpg (71586 bytes) Tremere is a dark bay Pinto Sport horse painted by me. He is named after the clan leader of the Tremere Vampires from the live action vampire game "Vampire; the Masquerade" He has yet to be shown, but I have high hopes on his show career as I am very pleased on how he came out. I will update his entry as his show career developes
Danny.jpg (16803 bytes) Danny Boy  This is my first customized mule! Named Danny Boy, after a horse  I used to ride as a child, he a real looker! I went on a quest for a mule  and Myla Peirce offered me this guy, and I couldn't pass him up. Myla did a  wondeful job re-sculpting the ears, lips and the new mane and tail. He is a  gorgeous dark "mule" bay with slight dappling. Danny is sure to do well in the show ring, as matter of fact, he NANqualified in his first show.
GoviL.jpg (16771 bytes)GoviR.jpg (16943 bytes) Govi - Govi is a Bridget Eberl stablemate Freissan painted by Gina Anderson to a bay tobiano Gypsy Vanner stallion. His name comes from a musician who plays "gypsy" style music and it seemed appropriate for him. Govi NAN qualified in his first show!
Rhosalie.jpg (17543 bytes) Rosaleen Dhu - Irish Draft mare resin by Animal Artistry she was painted by Becky Wilgus. At her first show, I had so many models that I was trying to show (and I was so un-organized!) That I totally forgot to put her on the table for her class! I did better for her second show, where she placed 4th in her class. Her name means "Black Rose" and it comes from a book by Mercedes Lackey.
AldoL.jpg (16222 bytes)Aldor.jpg (16195 bytes) Aldo Nova - This is the stablemate Shooter resin by Linda York painted by me. This is a color I have been wanting to do for a long time, heck I have had his name even longer! The name is from a 1970's Rock Star Aldo Nova. I saw this appy pattern and knew the name would fit. So Aldo Nova now joins my growing ranks on Stablemate show horses. Can't wait to take him to a live show to see how her does
