Tristan Loremistress - This is the
miniature, of the same name, made by Reaper miniatures. One of many that were made for
sale on e-bay and now sold. Her whole color scheme was inspired by one of my porcelain
statues of fairy tail princesses put out by Lenox Collectables. The comb in the back of
her hair has three high gloss purple jewels in it! Her dragon was done in pearl
colors to give it an iridescent look. What you can't see on him is the purple ridges down
his back or the green stripe on his side. the finished piece has a flocked base |

Cobart - Made by Reaper miniatures this
is the mage of the same name. His clothing makes him a good mage or a good cleric in my
opinion. His colors are all "fall" colors reds, maroons and golden yellows. I
used bronze and copper for his metal ornamentations. his spell book is dark blue bound in
silver and there is even arcane writing on the pages. Alas, he was another victim to
e-bay, but his sale brought me much joy and more miniatures to paint! |

Fire mage and elemental by RAFM. This
is part of an interesting set of miniatures featuring a magic user and a summoned
elemental. This particular set was fun to do as the mages outfit was inspired by a picture
I saw of an Enchantica figure. The color scheme is quit good for a fire mage. The
elemental has his own picture's featured in the elementals section of my web site. |

This is the air mage with air elemental
by RAFM. Part of the set of miniatures featuring mages and summoned elementals. Close up
of the elemental alone can be seen under the elementals page. |
  |
Water mage and elemental by RAFM. here
we have a female mage and her summoned water elemental. her gown was all done in
pearl/satin colors. She was matte sprayed and then a high gloss was applied to the base of
the rocks to make them appear wet. Her summoned elemental was done in a similar
manor, more on him can be found under the elementals page` |

Earth mage and Earth elemental by RAFM. This mage
could also easily pass as a female druid. And with that large elemental by her side
explains why high level druids are not the type of people you want mad at you! I tried to
stick with a lot of "earth" tones on her, but she looks rather
"severe" I think next one I paint will be done in greens for more color. Closer
pictures of the earth elemental and more information on him can be found under the
elementals page |

This is a fire wizard by Lance and Laser he was
sculpted by Sandra Garrity and he has all that detail that only Sandra can achieve! He was
a "happy" mistake" in the blending of his robes, they just "kind of
happened". His outer is a pewter gray which off sets the fiery colors of his inside
robes. His beard is black with a slight dry brushing of gray over it |

Mykayla - This is a Warlord figure put
out by Reaper miniatures called Lysette the sorceress. I painted her up to represent a
character in an on-line game I am playing, and elven sorceress named Mykayla. Her outfit
is a midnight blue in which I added a "sparkle" medium to. the picture isn't
that great, but I hope to get a better one taken that will hopefully show these
"sparkles" I was trying to make the dress look like it was made of a
"Elvish" material known as "starlite cloth" In person, it works well! |

This is one of the female mages in the
box set "Silver and Steel" based on pictures drawn by the very talented Larry
Elmore. She is another "older work" (I got a lot of them!) She was painted in
pearls and satins and finished off with something that was between a matte and satin
finish. All in all though she is still a nice "older" piece |
 |
Female mage - This is the elven mage
from the Larry Elmore Silver and Steel box set. Another one of my older pieces. She was
done using pearl green on her robes with a dark green cloak. the dragon head on the staff
was done in a pearl white |
