| Rules for a happy Relationship |
Rule # 1a. If she ain't happy, you ain't happy. 1b. If he ain't happy, you ain't happy. 2. Never both be angry at once. 3. Never yell at each other unless the house is on fire. 4. Yield to the wishes of the other as an exercise of self-discipline, if you can't think of a better one. 5. If you have a choice between making yourself or your mate look good, choose to make your mate look good. 6. If you feel you must criticize, do so lovingly. 7. Never bring up a mistake of the past. 8. Neglect the whole world rather than each other. 9. Never let the day end without saying at least one complimentary thing to your life's partner. 10. Never allow your love to come home without an affectionate welcome. 11. Never go to bed mad. 12. As soon as you realize you've made a mistake, talk it out and ask sincerely for forgiveness. 13. Remember it takes 2 to make an argument. The one who is wrong is the one who will be doing most of the talking. |
