The Star Spangled Banner



O say, can you see, by the dawn's early light, What so proudly we hail'd at the twilight's last gleaming? Whose broad stripes and bright stars, thro' the perilous fight, O'er the ramparts we watch'd, were so gallantly streaming? And the rockets' red glare, the bombs bursting in air, Gave proof thro' the night that our flag was still there. O say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

On the shore dimly seen thro' the mists of the deep, Where the foe's haughty host in dread silence reposes, What is that which the breeze, o'er the towering steep, As it fitfully blows, half conceals, half discloses? We wonder: Will we ever be safe and secure again? Will it ever be the America we remember just a few days ago? God always shares with us his comfort as we move forward into the future:

"Be patient, therefore, beloved, until the coming of the Lord. The farmer waits for the precious crop from earth, being patient with it until it receives the early and the late rains. You also must be patient. Strengthen your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is near.

On A Personal Note~

My deepest prayers and sympathies go out to those who lost loved ones in this attack against the United States. This is human nature acting at its worst. I pray that you will be comforted in God's Word and in His arms thoughout this painful time that we as a nation and world must endure.

We turn to Him and He will carry us to victory against those who feel that they can take the blood of innocent people.
