Oh I am tired Lord, My soul cries out to you. You are my strength and my refuge You are there when I am weary. You are there when the battle has been long, When the battle scares are many. You are my rock oh Lord, While men deceive and try to persuade, You are there in your Word, in your will, Waiting for me to return each time, To your rest. You lie in wait Lord for each of us. You have given us your grace, And you have given each of us a free will. Who are we Lord? We are your creation Lord, And we have taken your gifts and used them to our own purpose. Oh Lord, have mercy on me, For I am a sinner and I have sinned against you, And against your mighty throne, Lord. I deserve to be thrown to the lions, Yet your grace prevails, For you want mercy and not sacrifice. You are my refuge oh God, And you will see that my enemies do not prevail against me. Oh Lord, you are be my fortress and my stronghold. You will protect me and carry me when the battle Is more than I can bear. I sing praises to you Lord out of the depths, I sing praises to all you have done. You sent your Son to die for us, So that we may be with you, That we may rest in your arms.
