How to Fish
I like to fish this fly on a swing,
casting across the current, letting it sink below the surface, mending
to slow its speed as it rises on the swing. Very effective when the
fish are hitting something at or near the surface but aren’t taking
dries. I love this fly because it is easy to fish, easy to tie, and
very productive. Sometimes it will get hit as a dry, sometimes as
a nymph, but to see the water boil up and have the line straighten
on the swing is a real rush.
