cut zonker strip to length

tie in at head of fly with several firm wraps

select soft hackle and tie in at head of fly, make 3-4 wraps, tie off and clip leftover hackle

build up thread head and whip finish

now go back to the bobbin hanging at rear of fly and bind down zonker strip

whip finish and apply head cement to all wraps

pick out tubing at rear of fly to form tail

How to Fish

Cast to any bassy looking cover, let sink to desired depth, strip back in, repeat until successful

This color works well in muddy,off-colored water where I do most, if not all of my bass fishing. I haven't tried this fly with a rattle before, but saw it in a recent Fly-Tyer and thought it would be great.
