Tying Instructions

Body is turned on dremel lathe from plug of chartreuse flip flop. A rounded toothpick is stuck up the back end of the body for ease of handling. A pair of Darice half bead eyes are applied with CA adhesive. A piece of sheer curtain fabric is stretched across the body and a quick spritz of flat black spray paint is applied through the material. A single coat of unthinned 5 minute epoxy applied to the body with a small brush. A #6 Aberdeen hook is thread-wrapped, and then a single chartreuse grizzly hackle is wrapped and tied off.

The rest of the hook is thread-wrapped to ensure bonding to the body with CA adhesive. The toothpick is removed from the bug body, and the body is slipped over the eye of the thread-wrapped and hackled hook with a drop of CA adhesive already applied. Fly is finished!
