DEPRESSION:
Depression is a serious disorder that affects at least one
out of twenty people. Children and adolescents are especially prone to
developing depression, especially if there is a family history. Depression
is the type of disorder that generally worsens when left untreated. It must be
taken seriously and diagnosed as soon as possible. We at NPS are able to
diagnose as well as treat depression: childhood, adolescent, adult and
geriatric. We will coordinate services with the primary care physician, and when
indicated, the psychiatrist in bringing about relief that will be expedient,
long lasting and insightful.
