Preditory Aggression
Preditory Aggression is when a dog nips, bite, barks at people who are in motion. (most common in herding dogs)
Dogs with Preditory Aggression will chase people, bikes, cars, anything moving that will trigger those instincts to chase. There's more a chance that the dog will chase if the person becomes frightened and runs away.
Dogs that chase cars usually do this because a instinct has triggered. In the wild, the dog would have chased after prey, but being captive, the dog has no reason to chase, but the instincts are still there. Most likely these instincts will always be there, and it can't be trained out of the dog, although SOME dogs have been train to not chase!
