Breath Better
After adding bigger tires and not getting lower gears, I started looking for ways to give me Jeep a little more juice to push the 33's. Airaid's PowerAid throttle body spacer was claiming to give an extra 10-15 HP's AND increase fuel econony ($2.17/gallon right now!!) for only $80. But the main thing this spacer claims to do is give you faster throttle response and snap when shifting.
It's a really easy install, just remove you air tube, unbolt the trottle body, pop in the spacer, and put it all back together. Now I've got some serious snap in 1st and 2nd gear!!! 3rd is a little slower, but I can tell that I've got more HP's when I'm going up hills. The only thing I don't really like about the spacer is that it makes a whistling sound through the midrange of the throttle. It's not noticeable when wheelin, but tt was pretty annoying driving around on the street until I cranked up the TOOL............. |
