Hella Lights

Flamethrowers!!!
WOW, these babies sure do light shit up!!!  I'm definitely happy with the amount of light they put out and they look cool as shit.  The only thing I don't like about them is that they have plastic housings which could break easy if a tree branch hits them.  RedAss broke both of his Hella's and ended up getting KC's since they're made out of steel.  The other thing I don't like is the lack of fine adjustment.  Maybe that's a good thing, I could see myself constantly trying to adjust them perfectly.  Fortunatley they seem to point perfect anyway.  Definitely a must for night runs.
Home
As you can see I still have room for at least 3 more switches, lights/air lockers/etc.

Another Must Have
If you own a Jeep, I'm sure by now you've realized that the stock reverse lights suck shit.  Having some extra lighting while Night Wheelin can be the difference between
seeing the tree behind you and hearing it crunch the back of your Jeep as you plow into it.  This is a good mod to make since the light only costs about $18 and body work can cost at least $1k.  I chose to mount the light in the middle of my spare tire to keep it safe from rocks and to avoid drilling into my rear bumper.  To mount the light I used a Con-fer bracket that was designed for carrying a Jerry can, but you can simply use an L-shaped bracket.  I was considering hooking the light up to a switch instead of splicing into the reverse lights, but honestly, at the time I just didn't feel like fucking with it.
Installation was easy, just remove the right rear tail light and splice a wire into the power wire for the stock lamp.  Then run the wire up through the corner of the body (there's a tiny gap).  Since my CB cable was running the same path, I twisted the flood light wire around the CB cable and out through the tailgate.  I then hooked up a ground wire to the light to make sure I had a good ground.  In order to make the light a "quick release" for the time when I may need to use my spare, I spliced in some quick disconnect wire plugs.  That's it, pretty damn simple.

IMPROVED!!!   see below.....
Quick Detach
The original mount you see above was made for attaching a Jerry Can to the spare tire and required a socket wrench to take the rear light off before I could take the spare tire off.  Now I don't take the spare off very often, but I figured I would get a Sun Performance quick detach for the rear light to make thing easier if I ever needed to get the spare off on the trail.  All you do is pull the clip and pin to get the light mount off.
     After installing the
Rear Corners, I needed a new place to keep my liscense plate.  So I found a metal plate holder at a trucker store and made a 90 degree bend so it would attach to the light mount.  Then I got an LED light to light up the plate.  Now everything comes of easily with the pull of a pin and a few wires!!!

pics coming..........
