This complex show centers around mankind's struggle to achieve peace through various means. The time is after colony 195.Mankind has colonized space, with the Earth as the ruling headquarters.Five highly trained Gundam pilots work to attain peace for earth and space by destroying those who seek to maintain power through military force (namely, the Romafeller foundation). The main proponent of peace and non-violence is Relena Peacecraft; she believes in and acts by the principle that total pacificism can and must be achieved.Meanwhile, her brother Miliardo (a.k.a. Zechs Merquise, leader of the White Fang resistance) shares her pacifist ideals but cannot escape his soldierly instincts and continues fighting bloody battles.Similarly, Treize Khushrenadah, one-time leader of the OZ resistance and a good friend of Zechs, understands the desire for peace but still believes that war can be a beautiful thing.Who will emerge the victor? Will the universe ever exist in peace?

Heero Yuy:
This gundam pilot is my favorite, exuding both a ruthless determination and confidence in the field of battle and a strange sensitivity that betrays his warrior side.He is the most respected of the gundams in terms of skill and determination, and the most silent and brooding in terms of personality. An orphan, Heero was raised by Dr. J to be the greatest assassin, but he has seen enough battle that he understands when fighting is necessary and when it is not. he will defend the colonies at any cost.

Trowa Barton:
A close second when it comes to favorite gundam pilots, Trowa is a softer, gentler Heero. He fights when he needs to but he also has enough intelligence to see the bigger picture of where the gundams fit into the world's changing landscape.
