| I have some really awesome family members that I want to tell the whole world about! God has blessed me with a family that is very loving and would do anything for each other. We are all very close! Every holiday when we have a get-together at my house all of the cousins sit on the steps and talk. This picture was taken last Christmas when we did it. | We'll start with the obvious..my parents Roger and Patti Bradley. My mom is all the way around my best friend. We don't have the typical "I hate my parents" kinda relationship at all. She's someone I can really talk to no matter what is going on. I value that a lot. And my Daddy is awesome! He may seem a little rough on the outside, but he's honestly one of the sweetest men I've ever met. Yeah, I love 'em a lot! :) I have a brother, Randy Mac Stevenson. He is 33 years old, and has just recently moved here to Proctorville. Some people can't figure out why we have different last names, but thats b/c he is my half brother. We don't have the same biological dads, thus different last names. He has 3 beautiful daughters whom I am soooo proud of; Tiffany Reshia Stevenson, age 13; Jami Michelle Stevenson, age 8; and Katie Brooke Stevenson, age 4. Those girls are my babies! They are awesome! I only have one grandparent alive, and that is my mom's mom, Ramona Jean Watts Barnett Miner...I had to add all of her names. But to me, she is Gimms. She was married first to my biological grandfather, George Flemming Barnett, Jr. who I call Grandpa George. He died way before I was born. She then married the man I know as my grandpa, Howard Wade Miner, or my Paws. Paws passed away in September of 2000. Both of my dad's parents have passed away. My grandfather on his side, Ernest Lee Bradley, died when my dad was only 9 years old, so I never knew him. I call him my PawPaw. My MawMaw, or Lillian Jewell McComas Bradley, was the sweetest woman I ever met. She was my best friend when I was growing up b/c she lived with us. She died of breast cancer in May of 1994. My mom has 3 brothers. My uncle, Michael Lee Barnett, and my Aunt Joyce have two sons. Trent Lee is married to a woman named Je'Taime and living in Groton, Connecticut. Bret Alan is a single 22 year old (who is looking) living in Proctorville. We're pretty much as close as cousins can get. I love him to death...and if you wanna see how well we get along just look at my shout outs! Another uncle, Mark Joseph Barnett, has a son named Brice Dalton Barnett. Currently, Mark lives in West Virginia and Brice, a 17 year old high school student, is living in Proctorville. Brice and I have been spending entirely too much time together since Im dating his friend, but hey, thats okay! ;) My last uncle, and my personal fave, is George Flemming Barnett, III. My mom tells me that we're "thicker than thieves". He has three great kids, and my only female cousins! Ashley Nicole is a cutie-pie 15 year old. We are only 8 months apart, which makes us very close. Jessica Ann is a 13 year old sweetie whom I love to death! Jess and I fought a lot growing up but we are so close now! She shares a lot of my favorite things, like cute guys and playing with kids! Dustin James is the youngest of the cousins at only 6 years old. He's my little buddy...gotta love him, even if he is a little mean! So, that's my family in a nutshell. I hope to add more people to that long list of names as our family grows. I would guess that Bret will be the next to get married and that I wont be far behind that. ;o) |
