| I will never fall in love again, So, why do you think this is true? Could it possibly be I've been hurt once or twice, And my heart has been broken by you? Once in a lifetime I give my heart freely, I'm willing to have loved and to have lost. But this changed the rules and sobered the game, I had no idea how much it would cost. When you look at me now it is cold, Like deep down you've hidden your heart. Did you hide it from me because you were afraid? Is it too hard to stop once you start? No, my soul has been shattered, my mind is in doubt. Of whether or not you did care. But know that forever my feelings will stay, For you I will always be there. |
