The open sky, the silver moon, the breeze that cools my face.
How can I live another day without you in this place?
I want to know you, want to love, want to know you're there.
But how can I when you're not here, and I'm scared you won't care?

He promised me that if I wait and love Him first I'll see,
A life of love planned out for me, my own true destiny.
But I am tired, and I am weak, and I how I need you now.
And still I seek, and want your heart...can someone tell me how?

How can I know that there's someone to fulfill my destiny?
How can I live my life without the one that's meant for me?
And by God's hand I believe one day I'll see the one I love,
Because my fairytale was written by the Author of Above.

Years from now I'll be with you, my husband and my friend.
An unconditional kind of love that knows no bitter end.
Although, my love, you may not be so close that I could touch,
His Hand will lead you to me, and I will love you oh so much.

A child-like faith is guiding us to where we need to be.
And I hope you'll wait and cherish what's in store for you and me.
And every night I'm on my knees in humble prayer for you.
Please keep me in your prayers tonight, and God will see us through.

Now I know that there's someone to fulfill my destiny.
