* scrapbooking - I made my first "real" scrapbook page in 1997, but I've loved putting photos with stickers and pretty paper for as long as I can remember.
* genealogy - I'm a fairly new family history junkie. I think the toughest part about doing family research is focusing on just one family line at a time and not jumping around.
* my computer - I love our computer. I like creating webpages, writing in our blog, editing my digital photos, searching the web for craft ideas and visiting with my family & friends online.
* handcrafts - crochet, sewing, cross stitch... all things that I like to do. Although I don't spend as much time doing them as I used to. Its still fun to see what I can create every once in awhile.
* the SIMS - yes, I am a 40 year old mom...who happens to like this computer game. It's quite fun to create little families, build and furnish thier homes and guide their little lives. (this is my silly, fun hobby)
* trash 2 treasure - garage sales, auctions, thrift stores... they all give me such a thrill. complete with heart palpitations and all. I love to get a bargain... and I have an eye for seing the potential in everyday "junk".
* home improvement - ok, I'm not sure if this is technically a hobby, but I get a great sense of accomplishment when I compare "before & after" photo's of a room that I've worked on. |
