Vamshidwani, an institution founded by Saravanan has recently celebrated the Sadasiva Brahmendra Aradhana with the pioneer batch of students. Though held privately, the aradhana was well received and plans are underway to carry out in a more public oriented event in subsequent years
Esplanade Concourse (May 2008)
Saravanan gave an exciting performance at the famous Esplanade Concourse to the awe of friends, enthusiasts, Western musicians, tourists and foreigners. All his recordings were sold out within the concert period. Unfortunately, only a small collection was available. Expect more of such concerts in the near future!
Sri Sivan Temple Mandalabishegam Cultural Festival (Mar 2008)
Saravanan gave a scintillating performance at the famous Singapore Sivan Temple Mandalabishegam Cultural Festival with a feast of krithis in praise of Lord Shiva and his family including the evergreen Siva Siva in raga Panthuvarali, Kaliyuga Varadhan in raga Brindavana Saranga and the haunting spell Shiva Shambo.
