Servant Information
It has been brought to my attention that in original Medieval times, servant's would listen in on conversation's and then repeat what they heard to other servants and whatnot. That was IRL.

This is here to set the record straight about the servant's at Vanya Oira. The servant's
and guard's within Vanya Oira have been sworn to keep any and ALL conversation they hear to themselves and none other, either by accident or willingly.

In other words: if a servant accidentally hears a private conversation they
will not repeat a word of it to anyone. They always wait until they see the individuals involved go their separate ways.
But if they turn the corner and, BAM, there are people standing there talking privately, they cannot help that they heard any of the conversation. When this happens it is purely by accident. Please don't confuse this with purpose, there IS a difference.

Another example is: when a servant is directly told something, they always keep it to themselves, unless the person speaking asks for it to be forwarded to another person (who will
always be named by the speaker).

So to help you out a little, here are a couple of situations IC:

1)  Cara quietly made her way down the long hall as she returned the empty tray to the kitchen. As she began to turn the corner, she heard indistinct voices, but simply shrugged it off as another days greeting between two people. But as she continued around the corner, the voices became clearer to the point of fully inderstanding every word. As she now turned the corner, she saw Lynette and Mina standing outside of the kitchen door, talking quietly amongst themselves. They had been speaking of how they enjoyed taking care of the Chancellor's chambers while she was here. Though Cara was walking down the hall, they continued their conversation, but both gave Cara warm smiles and nods as they watched her pass by. Cara thought nothing of it and walked into the kitchen.

2)   Cara rounded the corner as she left the foyer and left the front entrance of the castle. She looked about for a moment before she found who she was looking for: Ryoku. She stopped abruptly before she took another step, for she saw that he was speaking privately with Dagger. Instead of continuing on, she stepped over to the practice fields to see if there was anything she could bring the guards. Once finished with that, she check to see if Ryoku and Dagger's conversation was over. But she refused to approach the two.

Ok, there they are. The first clearly shows where Cara could have stopped and taken another route to the kitchen. But the second obivously shows her respect for the conversation, and therefore, does not approach the two involved.

This next bit may not be very pleasing to everyone, but I have absolutely no doubt that other's would do the same thing if they were in my position. Especially since I this in other SLs.

I am the Matron of Vanya Oira Castle, both IC and OOC.
Therefore, I have the ability to keep all servant and guard jabber either at NOTHING, or simply on the DL.

Also, room servant's need to be re-addressed. There is a
List of room servant's that tell's which servant goes to what room and who the owner of the room is. Please take a good, long look at this list because it is VERY important to know that information. You will see all of those servant's walking around, doing thing's for their specific room owner, and that person ONLY.

*
So don't think that you have the right to just snatch any servant you see and run off with them and make them do whatever you want them to. I WILL NOT stand for any of that. This rule was made to help out the people who have their own rooms, and it is to stay that way.(refer to the ooc section for info on room servant's)*

*
Please take note that I use Cara only because Orian is still an infant. He has no mun and is currently an NPC, which means I will play him until a suitable mun is found (if one is found).*
