This is Penny Wex and her cat, Rasputin (Raspy for short). Penny is not my biological aunt, but I've known her for as long as I can remember, and she is like family, so I grew up calling her Auntie Penny! She has a beautiful backyard full of gorgeous flowers and lots of birds...a hobby that is also near and dear to my mom's heart, too. My mom and Penny have been close friends since before I was born. |

There was a tiny litle birdhouse on the back deck that had a nest in it. If you look closely, you can see little wren beaks open for business! |
