Joined the Pony Express during The Young Riders second season. He was quickly excepted by all the boys with the exception of Kid who took a little longer to trust/respect him. As a free African American during slave times many of the episodes where Noah is in the main cast focus on slavery. Noah Dixon's prized possesion is his Daddy's silver saddle. Apparently at one point he was forced to sell it. Rachel is able to win it back for him though. (see episode Kansas). He also rarely carries a gun. Instead he carries a whip that he can use left or right handed since as he says "Where I come from a man need two right hands". Noah's character did not live out the series (see character death page or 'Til Death Do Us Part) for more information. On a happier front Noah Dixon lives on in fan fiction and the imaginings of The Young Rider's fans.
