Visual Mission

Early Easter morning, some of the churches in the Nagoya area met together at a department store for a celebration of His resurrection.

A volunteer choir sang several hymns for the cold Easter morning service.

After our regular Sunday worship service, we had an Easter fellowship with food.

During out fellowship we sang songs and played games. Here we playing a game with some of the Easter eggs.

After the early morning Easter service, at Seto Church we had a children's special breakfast. Here Reiko-sensei explains about the resurrection of Jesus.

Pastor Ito prays for the special breakfast.

"Mmmm, these sandwiches are good"

"I like the donuts!"

Recently, our church celebrated Children's Day . Here most of all the children are here.

During the Children's Day recognition, the Sunday School teachers were also recognized. Here Otsu-san, Reiko-sensei, and Fujimoto-san are praying.

On one of my TWS's, my Friday class and I went to a local park that focused on various fruits and flowers.

Which are prettier?

Under the podium I knew there was a baptismal, but I did not know it was so deep!

Japan isn't all concrete and buildings. In fact, there are some very beautiful forests nearby.

There are many interesting plants everywhere you walk. During the spring, many shades of green filled the forest. However, despite the beauty, some parts of the forest will be cleared away for a technology expo in 2005.

Nagoya Castle was a good back-drop for this sakura tree picture, although it was a bit early.

This was a good photo opportunity. A typical Japanese scene, perhaps.

During the Golden Week holiday, I had the chance to go to the ocean south of Naogya.
