Visual Missions

On one of our holidays, the teachers went on a trip to see some of the sights in Japan.  This particular sight is famous because of the two rocks (behind us).  Many people come this way to pray at the temples or to the rocks themselves.

Another stop we made was at the famous Mikimoto Pearl Island.  Sara and Michiko pose in front of the statue of Mr. Mikimoto who started the company to bring beautiful pearls to the world.  You can see the women divers who pick up the clams from the clam farm.  They are some brave women because it was a mighty cold day that day!

Just some strange English and some fish at the Toba Aquarium.

I got to spend some time off and saw the sights near Nagoya.  The 138 Tower is a relatively new structure with a hedge maze and garden.

A typical kindergarten outing.  Just a mass of little kids and their yellow hats.  And of course for ninja training, we had to see the ninja equipment.

Martin and his friends praise God after service.

Getting ready for the "pop" Valentine party at church.

This time the snow lasted about two days before it melted.

Although I didn't know him very well, we said our good-byes on earth and waited to meet in heaven.
