Visual Mission

After our Pentecost service, we had a time of fellowship and food.

It was during the Pentecost service that a new church member was baptized. Finally, I got to see the baptismal being used.

On the left are my students on their way to see Star Trek: Insurrection. On the right is a swollen river after a "big rain." What is the connection? There is no connection that I can figure out.

We celebrated Rob's birthday on June 17th. We had Mexican food and lots of fun.

A farewell speech by a long time church member. He moved to Osaka.

My cello student, his wife, and I went to a nearby city to see the ajisai flowers that were in bloom. This city has an Ajisai festival. There were five kilometers of these flowers along the side of the road.

Here we are with Randy and Gay Hongo, Christian Hawaiian Gospel singers. They performed at the chapel as well as giving their testimonies in the concert.

What seems to be our annual trip to Nagashima Spa-land. Members posing for pictures.

Although we did not have the best weather, we did have a fun time. Well, almost everyone had a fun time on the roller coaster.
