    Germaine fit his name well.  This cat always made sure that anything he was doing, saying, or thinking was completely relevant to whatever situation he was in. It got to the point where he stopped eating because he didn't think eating was relevant to thinking. After three days without any food, Germaine passed out in his sideyard where he had been staring at his jasmine bush one morning. he woke up later with a pounding headache. stumbling inside the kitchen, he poured himself a bowl of cereal. He ate silently, and then he smoked some weed. Germaine stepped back out into his yard and walked over to the jasmine bush. It had turned into a pile of lotus pedals.
