Blood keeps flowing
Veins big and bulging
Eyes slowly closing
And I'm broken
Can you understand this moment
Or will you just keep going?
Can you sell the part of me you're owning
And alone I will walk away into the night again not knowing
Wind cold and blowing
Moon bright and glowing
And I'll tell you something
These wounds, fresh and open
But these footsteps, steady and still hoping

Everything is nothing and always has been
But for what it's worth
Anything can be something
When the walls wear thin
And the mistakes and regrets of our past
Are eternally returning as fires blazing
Coming with the burning of remembering
