Dan Brown
HIghest Selling Religious Novel
Folks, here at the awards commitee we choose our awards very carefully, however, when something as highly publisized as the Da Vinci Code comes along it would be unjust to leave Dan wanting. This award was given to him for the highest grossing religious novel (written by an American) of all time. For those of you who have been living in the uncultured dark the Da Vinci Code is a Murder/Mystery which follows the adventures of a Harvard Professor of Religious Symbology who uncovers the truth behind the Holy Grail with his lovely French side-kick. The novel spent over one year at the top of the international bestsellers list and is estimated to have grossed around a quater of a million US dollars. (We'll try to get the real figure if Dan accepts our award.)
Dan the man dressed like "The Da Vinci Code's" male protagoist Robert Langdon.
