Tenseiga [Translation: Natural Fang]

The sword given to Sesshoumaru by his father. Like Tetsuaiga, Toutousai forged it. The opposite of Tetsuseiga, which is the killing sword Tenseiga has the power to revive the dead with one swing. With a truly caring heart, one swing of Tenseiga can save 100 lives. The sword can revive the dead by killing the messenger from the other world. Sesshoumaru never wanted such a sword that can heal, only one that can kill. He went to Toutosai to make him forge another sword for him, but Toutosai refused and went to InuYasha to help defend agaist Sesshoumaru.

Attack Info

Tenseiga has been used three times in the series. The first time was when InuYasha tried to destroy Sesshoumaru using Tetsuseiga, and Sesshoumaru was close to death. Tenseiga was able to save Sesshoumaru before he was destroyed. Since his father gave each of his sons a sword made from his fang, Sesshoumaru and InuYasha were never to fight because of the two swords powers. The second time Sesshoumaru used Tenseiga was to revive a young girl named Rin, who was killed by Kougas wolfs. The final time Sesshoumaru uses Tenseiga was to revive the head of Goshinki to make his new deadly weapon, Toukjin.
