| Japanese Consonants - pronounced more or less like they are in English, with some exceptions: ch - as in CHair g - as in Gift The TS is 'tsu' - as in fooTSore j - as in Joke r - as in 'L' (That's why Sango's cat's name is pronounced in 2 ways. Kilala in English, and Kirara in Japanese because the Japanese don't have the letter 'L' in their alphabet.)
