My Poems
Untitled
I
We all do things we can’t explain
To each other, to ourselves
Nor understand, enough to gain.
We do what we can
And say what we must
To get through the day.
Someday I hope we may
Comprehend enough to say...
Unitled II
For
dreams we weep
For
the love we keep
For
the prayers we whisper
When
the silence is deep.
The
sun will rise
The
moon shall set
So
each day don’t regret.
The
choices we make,
The
faces we see
Are
all a part
Of
our history.
Though
dreams we weep
For
our hearts so deep
Lost
in the derk woods.
For
dreams we seek
We
turn the page…
After
taking a quick peek.
We
open our eyes
Through
the dried tears
That
no longer feel
So
threatening.
Our
very existence;
Our
lives, our dreams
The
way we weep
The things we keep.
Untitled III
Sometimes
you stand at the edge of disaster
And
as you look over the edge
Sometimes
you stand at the edge of disaster
And
as you look over the edge
You
jump
You
jump
To
see if you’ll fall.
Sometimes
you stand at the edge of disaster
And
as you look over the edge
You
jump
You
jump
To
see if anyone will catch you.
Sometimes
you stand at the edge of disaster
And
you look over the edge
You
jump
Jump
To
feel what you could not see.
You
You
ask me why I love you
You
ask me if I really do
Love
you, All that is my response-
Loving
you is worth the cost.
The
blood, the pain
matters
not, for with you
by
me, unconditionally
all
my deepest wounds
are
haeled by your lightest touch.
With
every touch, every kiss
I
desire your soft caress
my
body, my mind
my
soul, my heart
desire
you sweet love.
Every
moment, every thought
centers
on you-
your
gentle- yet strong arms wrapped
tightly
around me.
Your
arms bring me safets,
your
hand gives me strength.
You
lips give me faith,
your
eyes give me trust,
your
smile raises the sun.
Love
is not for the weak
or
some have said.
I
am weak...
but
with you,
I
am strong.
Dreams
For
dreams we weep
For
the love we keep
For
the prayers we whisper
When
the silence is deep.
The
sun will rise;
the
moon shall set
so
each day, don't regret.
The
choices we make,
the
faces we see
are
all a part
of
our history.
Though
dreams we weep
for
our hearts so deep
lost
in the dark woods.
For
dreams we seek
we
turn the page
after
taking a quick peek.
We
open our eyes
through
the dried tears
that
no longer threaten
Our
very existence;
our
lives, our dreams
the
way we weep
the
things we keep.
Untitled
We
turn each page
after
a tentative peek
and
brave what tomorrow shall bring
With
clenched fists
and
closed eyes
we
jump into the pool of tomorrow
with
the knowledge which we are given
we
travel through the wildest lands
the
most terrifying circumstance
we
all face everyday.
The
greatest fear
is
not what we will face
but
daring to face it.
Stare
fate in the eye
and
blink at your pleasure
walk
with style
and
stand with grace
Jump
into tomorrow
Remember
your swimsuit
you
might get wet.
Friends
Friends
come and go
like
flowers, they bloom
and
fade.
Beautiful
ones are hard to find:
hiding
in the guise of everything
and
everyone.
But
in the time it took
to
fall from heaven's grace
the
sun rose, and helped me see
the
beautiful flower right in front of me.
Silver
Springs
Silver
springs Bubbling
Along
green mountains pass
Suddenly
you see
Something
unlike You
Or Me
A
Pegasus all White
and
Gold
A
thousand stories
To be
told
Much
more than a legend
That
she defends
A
thousand stories
Mirrors
unseen
A
million dreams gathered
From
galaxies afar
A
world
Without
car
Nor
truck or plane
Golden
sunlight
Piercing
the green
Along
green mountains pass
forgotten
dreamers
And
Dream makers
The
truth is forgotten
To
remember
to
love
To
remember
Life
To
remember forever
A
forgotten stream
Meandering
through
Green
mountains pass
From
which life came
Through
thick green moss
The
Jungle
There’s
a silent cry
As
the tigress lie
her
newest victim
has
submitted to her paw
The
jungle is silent
as
the moon submits
to a
cloud
The
tiger’s call
can
be heard
All
the way
Around
the world
where
a different tiger lay
his
newest victim
the
tiger paid
with
it’s life-
for
one tiger’s dinner
Interstellar
Ballet
The
sun falls
into
the shadow of the earth
as
the moon hovers
ready
to take center stage
The
ballet continues
After
intermission,
and
snack,
the
second half begins.
Of
beauty and joy,
the
moon’s dance tells
of
midnight walks,
and
love stories
richer
than believable
As
the moon’s dance ends,
the
sun’s tap dance begins
sending
messages of power,
and
might,
warning
the mysteries of
the
night
to
scurry away
for
the day’s come out to play.
My
Sun And My Moon
Like
the Sun in the morning
Like
the Moon in the night
You’re
always shining
and
always bright
But
like the Sun at Sunset
You
disappear from my sky
And
like the Moonset
You
fade out of my eye
So
before you depart
Make
sure you promise,
(so
as to not break my heart)
that
you’ll give me one last kiss.
I’ll
be calling for you, until you return,
Until
then, my heart will burn.
Some
Things that You Never Learn
There
are some things that you just can never learn
Like
hate,
for
example.
How
it burns inside all of us like a sun,
burning
energy that fuels our actions
Eventually
it burns itself out, sometimes
in a
blaze of glory, sometimes
in
the dark of night
Like
love for example,
How
it burns inside all of us like a sun
burning
energy that fuels our actions
Eventually
it burns itself out, sometimes
in a
blaze of glory, sometimes
in
the dark of night.
A
Memory
Silver
moon bright
Piercing
the deep blue sky
With
silver rays of light
A man
prepares to fight
A war
with great wisdom
And
might
The
thunder rumbles
As
they advance
Toward
each other
Swords
clash
Blood
is poured
And
soaks into death
A
sword breaks
And
the hand shakes
A
soul is lost
The
silence is broken
As a
child begins to cry
She
believes this is the same as then
The
crowd weeps
As
the soldier is carried away
Oh,
the memories we keep!
All
I Ask Of You
You’re
my mother
and I
love you
but
after all you’ve done for me,
there’s
still one thing I dare ask of you
You
taken care of me,
the
way a cat watches her kittens
and
you’ve made sure
that
I feel safe and warm
but
now,
I no
longer am safe and warm
so
now I ask,
for
you to let a butterfly
spread
her wings
and
let the wind take her
where
God wills
for
even a butterfly,
as
small as one is,
has
to leave her cocoon sooner or later.
So
please,
listen
to my plea,
and
consider carefully
whether
I’m better off here,
with
you attempting to shelter
me
from all the world
or
whether it’s better
to
let me make my own choice
of
whether to go or stay
Sunbeam
Starlight
Sunbeams
dancing
Red,
orange, pink and gold
All
shimmering in the Sun
And
when the Sun is old
And
the day is done
Purple,
blue, green and silver
All
shining in the moonlight
A
slight sliver
of
cold and light
Moonlight
Dances
across the sky
Mother
You're
my mother
I was
born from no other
You've
been there
Far
longer than I could ask
You've
always been there
Even
when I was unaware
You've
stood by me
Even
when I cried
Help!
They're after me!
You've
always been my Mummy
and
never shall I let that change
I
will always love you
As my
mother you'll always be
Silver
Light
Up
from the shadows they come
Dancing
in the silver light
Borne
from the moon
Dancing
in the silver light
Beyond
forbidden eyes
Beyond
forgotten ears
Beyond
forbidden eyes
They
dance till the clock strikes one
Only
then is their bewitching done
They
dance till the clock strikes one
They
dance with laughter and fun
Weaving
the story of light
At
midnight tonight
They
dance with laughter and fun
They
weave the story of light
Until
the light becomes too bright
They
weave the story of light
Just
beyond forbidden eyesight
They
dance to bring the night
A
Wish
A
twinkling star
the
first one I’ve seen
that
was so bright
and
had it’s very own gleam.
I
made a wish one night
on
that bright, little star
and
now,
here
you are!
My
Teddy Bear
I sit
and cry
and
hold my teddy bear tight
and
squeeze as hard as I can
to
keep the tears in
but
it’s hopeless
just
like my dreams
and
just like my teddy bear
I
suffer
watching
the world through glass eyes
Cutting
cutting
all my friends
out
of my life
cutting
the strings of hope
cutting
the strings of love
that
hold us all together
cutting
the quiet
into
little shards of noise
cutting
the noise
into
little shards of quiet
all
in my head
cutting
family
out
of my vision
scraping
my soul
one
drop of blood at a time
(Note:
This poem wasn't about cutting myself, I could never do that, given my aversion
to blood and pain, this poem was about cutting myself in non-physical ways)
All
The Gold
If
all the gold
of
all the world
were
in my hands tomorrow
I
don’t know what I would do
But
I’d still choose to be with you.
No
Title Necessary
This
girl met boy, you see.
But
from each other’s grasps, each was torn.
Much
like you and I, may be
But
She without He, is forlorn.
There’s
truth in love
and
there’s love in truth
But
away flew the love
And
disappeared like a childhood tooth.
Yet
even the Tooth Fairy believes in trade
and
on my pillow sits a note
For
through her tears, she did wade
Still,
from this note, I quote:
"Have
faith in your broken heart, my Dear Sweet Child,
for
though your heart be wounded; its size is anything but mild."
