Appearance: Rin is a tiny human girl, vivacious and cute beyond description. She wears a yukata with a square pattern of creamy white and red/dark orange, overlaid with circles of red, and runs about barefoot.

Impressions: The adorable half of Sesshoumaru's cast of chibi-sized fans, Rin is lively, cheerful and sweet. She is unshakably devoted to her adoptive father and would follow Sesshoumaru anywhere (like to the lair of a demon swordsmith). She seems to be Sesshoumaru's one soft spot. Rin acts pretty much like a normal little girl: runs races with Jaken who does not seem to get the idea, picks flowers, looks after Sesshoumaru's two-headed dragon mount (okay, that's not a very common practise for small ladies), talks incessantly and generally is very cute.

History (spoilers!): Rin was an orphaned girl living at the edge of a village, not very diligently looked after by the villagers. Her parents and siblings had been slain by bandits before her eyes, and she had not spoken a single word since witnessing the massacre. When Sesshoumaru fled after being hit full-force by Inuyasha's Kaze no Kizu, Rin found him lying in the forest and attempted to feed him. When he harshly told her he did not care for human food, she went fishing in the irrigation canal in order to bring him raw fish. The villagers discovered her in the attempt and beat her up for stealing their fish and she didn't even cry, so she brought Sesshoumaru dead rats instead. He asked her where she got those bruises and she just smile at him. Then her village was attacked by Kouga's tribe of demon wolves, and Rin was caught and savaged by them. Sesshoumaru found her body, chased the wolves away and used the Tenseiga to revive her. Ever since, Rin has followed Sesshoumaru everywhere, and to all observation seems to consider the youkai lord, and Jaken, her new family.

Weapons & Attacks: None so far, but Sesshoumaru protects her.

Things of Note: Well, Rin does handle Sesshoumaru's two-headed dragon mount (which she has named Aa and Un, one name per head, presumably) with amazing efficiency. Jaken dreads to go close to the whole creature, but Rin just scratches them behind the ears.

Love Life: She adores Sesshoumaru, but those feelings are strictly filial, thank you. In newest news, though, she appears to have developed a crush on Kohaku, Sango's little brother.
