Job: Watcher and trusted errand-runner for Naraku
Quote: "Your soul is mine."
Fact: she has no demon aura (others can't sense her presence)
Circumstances in Fuedal Japan: Kanna is the frist born of Naraku's offspring (bunshin, which can also mean "detachment"), youkai that he spawned from his own body utilising the power of the Shikon no Tama., and is his most trusted servant. She first appeared when she stole all the villagers' souls with her mirror. Inuyasha and Miroku ran off to see what the problem was. She then used this opportunity to attack the girls. Sango attacked her with her boomerang, but Kanna deflected the attack with her mirror. Sango got hit with her own attack. Kanna then used her mirror to steal Kagome's soul. Kagome's soul was too big. Her mirror couldn't suck it all in. She then left and joined up with Kagura, who was fighting with Inuyasha. When Inuyasha used the cutting wind on them, she deflected it back to Inuyasha with her mirror. Inuyasha was horribly injured and could have die if it wasn't for the Tetsusaiga protecting him. Naraku then showed up and ordered Kagura to cut off Inuyasha's head so he could show it to Kikyou. Luckly Kagome arrived and shot her arrow at them. Kanna couldn't deflect her arrow. The mirror began to suck in Kagome's soul again and was overflowed. Kanna had to let all the souls out of the mirror or it will break. After everybody got their souls back, Miroku was ready to use his wind tunnel, but Naraku, Kagura, and Kanna made their escape. She holds no opinions and mindlessly does as her father orders. She dosen't seem to have much of a personality- one of the reasons that Naraku likes her. When Hakudoushi was split in two, she took care of one half, Kagura the other.
Kanna vs. Naraku: Not going to happen. The little girl is devouted to Naraku mind, body and soul. She is able to control others using her mirror, as well as watch anyone she wishes. Naraku uses her more as a utility device that a warrior, like Kagura.
Love Interests: None, unless you can count Naraku, who she serves, and would die for, or Hakudoushi, who she takes care of (for all of a couple of days). Takahashi's reference to Hakudoushi as the "Whie Boy"; if he were to have a counterpart, Kanna be the most fitting, seeing as how she is pure white, looks to be the same age as him, and holds the same zealous devotion to Naraku.
