I never considered
Just how it would end
I really miss you
You were my best friend
Maybe fate lied,
Destiny deceived
But it was in your heart
That I truly believed
I never considered
That you'd just walk away
I can still hear your promises
That you'd always stay
And so my heart is sad
Not that you've moved on
But the way that you left me
Just suddenly gone
I never considered
What I'd have to do
The pain that I'd feel
The things I'd go through
I guess it was coming
For a long time maybe
I just wish you had tried
Talking to me
Now I must consider
If I'll ever trust again
My poor heart is broken
And may never mend
But I've learned a lesson
Like a sting from a bee
The things I haven't considered
Are just what may be
Consider this
