Last night I awoke
My dreams up in smoke
My empty future will always haunt me
The pain I can't bear
Relief's nowhere near
Why does it have to be this way?
I can't change what's done
The future will come
Whether it's with or without me
Black and white all around
No colors to be found
Will I find the strength to make it through these days
My happiness gone
My heart is a stone
Cold, dark and heavy within me
The days will go by
With tears in my eyes
Knowing there's nothing I can say
I feel nothing now
But the pain and this frown
No fire left burning inside me
